The following movie is a Korean movie. I like this movie not only because of the songs in the movies are very good but also the meaning of the story is very impressed me. The story is truly acted by the character and it makes me think about many things. In the following paragraph, I will introduce what the story talked about.
The character, she was an ugly girl, fat, stupid and innocent. But she was kindly and she had a very wonderful voice. Her voice was loved by many people. Because of that, she was a very popular singer, only showing her voice, never showing her look. She was a substitute, instead of a beautiful star’s voice, singing behind her. In the music market, an ugly girl won’t be liked, even she sings very well. Everyone likes to see a beautiful or handsome star even she or he can’t sing very well. If the boss can have a star who has good looking and wonderful voice, the boss must be the biggest winner in the music market. But no one is perfect.
Also, no one liked to be a substitute, neither was she. When she finally recognized that she was just exploited to get more money, everyone didn’t sincerely want to become friend with her. She wanted to change herself. She wanted to become a beautiful, charming, perfect people and nobody knows her. Then she can restart her career. She wanted to become a real star who owns good looking, wonderful voice and is loved by many people.
She changed all her shapes, from head to feet, and her name. That’s a very terrible and painful process. But she still insisted to the end. She succeeded. She became a real star and was loved by more people. She got what she wanted, but at that time, someone who envied her found her gossip about her past. In the beginning, she was very scared, but when she knew how popular she was, there were many fans really supported her. She decided to talk them about all of these things, no cheating. This movie told me that we have to do something to achieve whatever we want. We have to insist that and trust ourselves. If you do nothing, nothing will be changed. The most important thing is that we can’t cheat anyone even we think maybe that’s better. If we lie in the first, we have to make more lies to cover the beginning lie. And also, we can’t lost our minds no matter we become how successful. To sum up, this movie is a very meaningful story, every time I watch it, I will get new thinking about that. That’s why this character appeals to me.
